Mile 77 is wearing green. We support the people of Iran in their struggle for freedom. This song promotes peaceful resistance to tyranny in all its forms. Satyagraha is power. RIPTIDE LYRICS BY WATSON & SHERLOCK All the world has waited 'til the end With its breath held silently You might seem to speak with pure intent But it's only make believe Now you stood out there Why were you waiting there for me? Your blue eyes salted; who's at fault here? Yeah you stood out there now And you waited just to see I get so high and stare I get so high from you Yeah you left early in the morning and I hate to see it all end this way When you seem to speak with mal intent It's never make believe Now you stood out somehow And just waited quietly You're bruised and altered Who's at fault here? You stood here here And you waited just to see I get so high and stare I get so high from you RIPTIDE CHORDS A section C#MAJOR EMAJOR13 B Section G#Minor BMAJOR F#Minor AMAJOR C Section E MAJOR AMAJOR 9 BMAJOR

I have never liked this type of music - I don't even know how I ended up watching this. I can't say I'll become a faithful listener, either, but I watched a few of your videos.
To be completely honest - you can sing. Damn, you can sing. I also love the fact that you took the time to respond to comments in a positive manner.
I most certainly wish you and your band the very best. Good luck.

her eyes were brown ...
moving images and the desperate screaming are horrible
I watched these Videos and
simply became very sad and
when I saw her fearfull, horrified eyes
becomming motionless
and the flush of blood on her face
and the desperate screaming of the people
who have to see and attest like me,
bursting into tears,
she is dieing so fast - so fast ...
simply became very angry about the man,
who targeted exactly and pulled the trigger,
for what reason and on which command soever.

respect guys for your solidarity , its not obviously to devote a song for a girl who died in and for the green-revolution.
thx you guys !!!

Ok guys - I just posted this up on Stumble and it shows up as a new discovery - I had to set a topic so I chose Alternative Rock - is that what you would like to be listed under? I think I can change it if there's another topic you want to fall under. Also, still trying to figure out the posting of tags, then you can pop up all over the place. If you're interested then let me know what you think!

Outstanding!!! Sweet entrance for the bass and drums. Admire the dedication - it fits very appropriately - especially after the Bush years where we lost contact with the human aspect of the middle eastern countries. A thought provoking song performed very well ........ I suspect you're going places!!!

cshowalter,
your words are so encouraging. thank you very much for the support and for helping to promote us by telling your friends. it's enthusiasm like yours that gives us a chance to make it against all the big pop and hip hop acts so well that are being pushed by the major label producers.
best,
mile 77

thanks, tyler. we're trying man. it's very competitive fighting against the huge record labels and all their money. the best way to help us get there is to use all the viral applications available. if you and all your friends send emails, blogs, facebook, myspace, youtube bulletins, favor our videos, attach our videos, have everyone go to itunes and get our stuff and call radio stations and demand they play us, we can all create a BUZZ. otherwise, we need a ton of funding that we don't have. lol

i have one question, WHY ARENT U GUYS FAMOUS YET? im serious your music is alot better than some of the really big bands right now. This sounds like a song that would on the charts or something

OK...I have expressed my opinion pretty soundly...but let me wrap up by once again saying these guys are great. Cool song and a great presence. Hope to hear more of their excellent music.
